Risky Business, Risky Investments

RI Americas 2015, December 8th and 9th, Bloomberg, New York City

The landmark Risky Business Project that was co-chaired by Michael Bloomberg, Henry Paulson and Tom Steyer quantified and publicised the economic risks from the impacts of a changing climate. The related effects on long-term institutional investments are axiomatic. And they are hugely topical as the COP21 climate change conference takes place in Paris, France.

This year’s RI Americas 2015 conference has as a key focus the critical information and practical discussions on environmental finance for pension funds, asset managers, insurers, banks and corporates.

It also majors on the increasing risk/return materiality drivers of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues for long-term investors.
